Carlos Zaldivar knows and loves San Antonio.  Carlos understands the businesses, cultures, services and schools that make our city thrive.  He is uniquely
equipped to guide District 7 into an era of even greater prosperity and safety.

Carlos has extensive experience participating in an array of urban committees, including the Mission Trail Master Planning Committee in 1995, and, more
recently, the Master Planning Charrette’s for the HemisFair Park Development.  This experience gives him an edge in understanding complex urban intricacies,
such as culture and demographic needs.

Additionally, Carlos served on the Oaks Condominiums Home Owner’s Association, and has helped in many other community nonprofit organizations as
board member or steering committee participant, such as the Hope for the Future Committee, which fundraises for Catholic Schools.

Carlos has also spent much of his free time helping the community as a volunteer but also as a fund raiser organizer.  For example, in 1997 he organized two
fund raisers for the Little Flower Basilica’s building additions, these just to name a few.   This past November, Carlos volunteered to chair St. Mary Magdalen
School’s 70th Anniversary at the Omni Hotel.

This kind of experience, which Carlos possesses in spades, is vital for the City Council District 7, which includes San Antonio's West Side and North West, a
crucial area to our city’s heritage and future.  San Antonio’s rich past has outgrown its former city borders and continues to grow West and North at a rapid
pace.  District 7 is no exception, and these shifts require a public servant with a vision for a vibrant future.  To that end, Carlos has organized a Steering
Committee to spearhead a Master Plan for District 7, which will promote urban order and development to attract businesses and bring prosperity with safety.

Vote for prosperity, for safety and for values.  Vote for Carlos!
